Leggal, a Brazilian platform offering legal care as an employee benefit, raised a $315K pre-seed round. DOMO.VC, Anjos do Brasil, and angel investors participated in the round.
Founded by Diego Battistella, Leggal uses AI and personalized customer service to connect users with specialized lawyers. The platform helps democratize legal services in Brazil, where 80% of Leggal’s users had never consulted a lawyer before. The legal-care-as-a-benefit model is already popular in the US, where 55% of Fortune 500 companies offer it, and has a potential market of over $3.6B in Brazil.
Leggal will use the funds to accelerate its product development and commercial expansion.
Leggal currently serves over 30,000 active users and projects to reach 80,000 by the end of the year.
