Lemon, the crypto wallet, launched a feature that allows users to convert their dollars from platforms and banks supporting ACH system into crypto $USDC. This feature is available in Colombia, with a $12,000 monthly limit and a 2% fee through Sardine, a provider that helps Lemon users open dollar accounts.
“To give more freedom and possibilities to users this feature allows people in Colombia to use their dollars abroad through crypto solutions, such as USDC, with Lemon,” said Maximiliano Raimondi, Lemon CFO.
When Lemon users receive transfers through Sardine, their funds automatically become $USDC. This opens up the possibility of making crypto profits using the “Earn” feature, which can be easily exchanged for other assets to send to friends and family without fees.
