Poland-based childcare management platform LiveKid has acquired Aldea, a Monterrey-based software provider for daycare centers and preschools in Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Founded in 2017, LiveKid offers software that helps daycare centers and preschools manage billing, admissions, staffing, parent communications, and payments. Aldea developed a similar platform and built a strong presence in northern Mexico, particularly Monterrey, before expanding into Colombia and Chile.
The acquisition expands LiveKid’s footprint in Latin America’s early childhood education market. The company will continue operating under the Aldea brand across the region. Jorge Dzul will lead operations in Mexico and Latin America, while Luis Garza Sada will join the board.
LiveKid serves more than 5,000 educational centers and 600,000 parents across Europe and Latin America. The platform processes more than $400 million in annual tuition and childcare payments.
