Liftit has just raised US$12M from undisclosed investors in its most significant funding round to date. The Colombian logistics company helps lower the cost of shipping logistics by 20-40% by directly connecting shipping providers with customers through their mobile app and website. They provide services such as transparent quotes, same-day delivery, and insurance that simplify the shipping process in Colombia and across Latin America.
Founded in 2017, Liftit has grown strongly in the past year, receiving angel investment from entrepreneurs such as Alexander Torrenegra and Brian Requarth. They have already served clients such as Corona, Spring Mattresses, and Homecenter.
Said Liftit co-founder Felipe Betancourt:
“We are opening the gateway to a new era in logistics, using our technology to solve the biggest problems in the transportation industry.”
Liftit did not disclose what the investment will be used for, however the logistics startup will likely continue to improve outcomes for the shipping industry in Colombia.
