Lumu, a Colombian cybersecurity startup, raised $30M in a Series B round. The round was led by Forgepoint Capital and included participation from BIP Ventures, Exceptional Capital, and Simma Capital.
“Lumu will increase its investment in Research & Development (R&D) to continue to drive innovation in a market that has historically been saturated with outdated tools that have failed to deliver results,” said Ricardo Villadiego, founder and CEO of Lumu, in an interview with Forbes.
Lumu’s security platform offers real-time network traffic monitoring, giving users a complete view of their assets. It helps analysts detect and respond to threats using existing security systems, reducing cybercrime’s impact.
Lumu aims to provide resource-limited security teams with industry-validated solutions to tackle a complex threat landscape.
