Brazilian fintech Magie raised $5M in a round led by Lux Capital. The investment follows Magie’s seed round in 2024.
Magie developed an AI-powered financial assistant that allows users complete Pix transactions through audio, text, or photos directly on WhatsApp. Users can also check balances, schedule and pay bills, and set financial reminders without leaving the messaging app.
Magie will use the funds to build AI agents for large enterprises, allowing companies to offer financial services to customers through conversational interfaces on WhatsApp.
Founded in 2024, Magie has more than 400,000 users and has processed over $380 million in transaction volume to date.
