Marisa.Care, a Brazilian healthtech that uses AI to improve the patient journey at hospitals, raised $1.5M pre-seed round led by Afya.
Founded in 2023 by Dr. João Vitor Innecco, Marisa.Care builds AI agents that assist with patient communication, collect and interpret clinical data such as symptoms, history, prescriptions, and create dashboards to support care management. Large hospital platforms and the public medical system (SUS) use Marisa.Care to help with the care of their patients.
Marisa.Care’s will use the funding to expand its AI-driven preventive-care model, addressing the growing demand for digital health solutions.
