Mexican fintech Mattilda acquired Mexican edtech Algebraix.
Founded in 2022, Mattilda helps schools manage tuition payments, cash flow, and access to financing. Founded in 2008, Algebraix offers tools for attendance tracking, grading, scheduling, parent communication, and administrative control.
The acquisition aims to offer schools a complete product to manage finance and operations.
“This new capital allows us to expand our product offering, accelerate growth in existing markets, and explore strategic acquisitions that strengthen our ability to serve schools,” said Mattilda’s co-founder and CEO Juan Pablo Bravo.
Currently, Matilda serves 650 schools. The combined platform will reach over 1,000 schools.
