Mexican pet care startup Vetalia closes $10M round

Vetalia closed a $10M round led by investors Lukas Keindl, Founder of BondVet, Andrea Viejo, former General Manager of Laika Mexico, Teresa Gutierrez, Country Manager of Rappi Mexico, Sujay Tyle, Co-founder of Merama, and the Gutierrez Muguerza family office.

Through these funds, the company plans to launch its tech platform and open more clinics in Mexico City.

“We plan to open 50 clinics over the next five years in Mexico, Chile, and Colombia,” explained company Head of Expansion, Marion Benítez.

Vetalia operates a chain of modern clinics that provide veterinary services and a platform where people can find everything related to pet care.
