The company will use the funds to expand its AI plant-based food production and enter the Mexican market.
“Our objective is to triple the company’s sales from 2022 and scale out operations in Mexico. In addition, we’re already closing strategic deals with main supermarket chains and convenience stores,” said Nutri Co’s Co-founder and CEO, Daniel Nuñez.
Nutri Co developed its AI technology called Virgilio to accelerate the creation of plant-based superfoods like shakes, cookies, and cereal bars.
The startup plans to reach over 2.5K points of sale in Mexico, Peru, and Chile, while they prepare to raise a Series A round and expand to the United States in 2024.
