Peruvian IT startup Quantum Talent raises seed round from Wayra

LAVCA reports that Quantum Talent S.A.C., a Peruvian startup that helps companies recruit IT and tech talent, recently raised a US$397.5K round from Wayra and undisclosed angel investors. The investment was made partially through convertible note and partially through equity investments to finance the startup’s growth.

Quantum Talent, founded in 2016, uses a machine learning algorithm to prescreen applicants for IT positions and help reduce staff turnover.

Quantum Talent joins four other Peruvian startups that have raised seed rounds this year, including Mesa 24/7, Culqi, Nutrishake, and Wabu. In total, these startups have raised over US$1.6M during the first trimester of 2018.
