Praso, a Brazil-based company that offers a distribution platform for retailers, secured a round of $9.5M to acquire the intellectual property of Floki, a food tech that uses AI to automate purchases for bars and restaurants. The round was co-led by Valor Capital Group and NFX and included investors like Base Partners, Iporanga Ventures, and Endeavor Scale-Up.

The funding also enhanced visibility for SMEs and allowed industries to connect more efficiently with the small retail sector.
