Mexican startup Prima raised a $23M Series A with participation from Acrew, Nazca, and Quona Capital. This funding brings Prima’s total funding to $42.5M, including $19.5M in previously undisclosed funding.

Prima serves as a one-stop shop for Mexican manufacturers, providing financial support, engineering, technology, and complete services from lead generation to delivery and invoicing.

Prima will use the funds to expand its U.S. footprint, accelerate product development, and elevate Mexico’s manufacturing base to global standards.

“We’re building a business model that can serve this market in a differentiated manner, and the pain points are significantly more acute than we ever expected because informality in Mexico is so rampant. At the same time, the opportunity is so massive,” said Juan Pablo Ramos, co-founder of Prima.

Founded in 2019, Prima works with over 200 manufacturers in North America, including clients such as Deacero, Farmacias del Ahorro, and Calidra.
