Brazilian edtech Principia secured $35M in new capital. The round includes a $15M Series A extension led by Valor Capital Group, with an additional $20M raised through debt financing.
Principia provides universities, K-12 schools, and vocational programs with technology and financial tools to help students stay enrolled and pay tuition. Principia’s “zero delinquency” solution manages billing and collections on behalf of schools, guaranteeing predictable cash flow and reducing the risk of student dropout. Their management software also automates key administrative tasks like student support, improving operational efficiency.
Principia will use the funds to enhance its school administration software. Principia plans to further integrate artificial intelligence to automate processes such as re-enrollment and class scheduling.
In three years of operation, Principia has supported over 500,000 Brazilian students and has partnered with over 600 educational institutions. Principia reported an annualized revenue of approximately $30 million in the first quarter of 2025.
