Brazilian QI Tech acquired Autobanking, a Brazilian vehicle-financing platform, thereby expanding into Brazil’s vehicle-financing market. Autobanking founders Fredy Evangelista and Heitor Orletti will join QI Tech as partners.

Founded in 2023, Autobanking operates a platform integrated with dealership and vehicle retailer systems, allowing financing applications to begin at the point of sale. Autobanking serves more than 80 businesses across more than 1,000 sales locations in Brazil.

The acquisition expands QI Tech’s lending infrastructure into automotive finance. Autobanking will continue originating financing requests, while QI Tech will manage credit analysis, loan documentation, settlement, and servicing. Instead of lending from its own balance sheet, QI Tech will structure loans through securitization vehicles, enabling asset managers, credit funds, regional banks, and dealerships to provide financing. The acquisition also adds Autobanking’s expertise in vehicle repossession and recovery, a key capability in automotive lending.

Autobanking generates about $9.7M in annual revenue. QI Tech expects to increase that figure to about $58M over the next 12 months. QI Tech also projects between $350M and $389M in revenue this year while maintaining annual growth above 50%.
