Reity allows real estate investment in Chile through tokens

Chilean proptech Reity is allowing people to invest in the real estate sector through property tokenization. 

Tokenization transforms real estate assets into digital tokens by dividing property value into smaller parts and converting them into interchangeable digital units.

“This innovation helps with market democratization, opening doors to anyone so one can invest their savings into real state, starting at 100 Lucas (Chilean pesos), without credit,” explained Vicente González Videla, Chief Operating Officer of Reity.

Recently, the company launched its development token, which will allow the tokenization of new and semi-new properties, as well as projects that have not yet been built.
