Brazilian sports gear marketplace Semexe raised $760K from Hiker Ventures to expand Loopify, its B2B circular economy solution.

Loopify is a white-label platform that enables companies to resell used, returned, and refurbished products and to offer trade-in programs in which customers exchange used products for credits toward new purchases.

“74% of retail executives in North America who currently do not have a re-commerce program are planning on launching one. In Brazil, we see the same trend, but companies look for a specialized partner to avoid overburdening their teams and to bring specific expertise,” said Rafael Papa, Semexe’s Founder and COO.

Founded in 2019, Semexe has generated over $13.3M in revenue to date and launched Loopify in 2024 to tackle the re-commerce industry.
