Serasa Experian, a global leader in credit risk assessment, authentication, and fraud prevention solutions, acquired FlexPag, for an undisclosed amount. FlexPag is a technology company specializing in payment solutions for energy, natural gas, water, and gas companies.

The acquisition will allow Serasa to launch a new feature called“My Accounts” in its app. This new feature is a bill aggregator, allowing users to pay water, electricity, and gas debts, which offers more transparency to consumers regarding their expenses and financial duties. The app has 83 million users.

“We want to help democratize access to credit and support more and more consumers and companies throughout their financial journey”, said Valdemir Bertolo, Serasa Experian CEO.

Serasa has also acquired other startups, including MovaPague VelozAgroSatélite, BRScan, Nogord.ioTraive, and PayHop.
