Somapay and Fortes Tecnologia have partnered to introduce FortesPay in Brazil, a new fintech solution that simplifies payroll management and offers banking services to employees.
This joint venture brings together Somapay’s payroll automation and Fortes’ expertise in software for accountants to enhance payment efficiency in payroll processes.
“Payroll has always been a complex process. We’re addressing this by creating a more secure and productive environment for accountants and companies”,” Denis Carvalho, CEO of FortesPay, explained.
FortesPay enables accountants to complete payments and generate data files for client companies. HR departments can then manage payroll payments using SomaPay’s banking services. The platform also offers free digital accounts with SomaPay, offering additional services like loans and insurance.
SomaPay has already made a substantial impact, opening over 150,000 accounts for more than 1,500 companies and handling over $300 million in the last year. FortesPay aims to expand to non-traditional financial services like flexible benefits.
