UK-based fintech, SumUp, raised $60M through a Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC). This fundraising is SumUp’s fifth FIDC in four years. Itaú BBA (lead coordinator), Genial Gestão (fund management), and Banco Genial (administrator) structured this fundraising for SumUp.
SumUp offers micro and small enterprises financial tools, including payment processing, digital banking services, and point-of-sale systems. Operating in over 36 countries, SumUp supports approximately 4 million small businesses globally and has been operating in Brazil since 2013.
SumUp will use the funds to expand its early payment services, allowing entrepreneurs to receive advance payments on installment sales, improving their cash flow, and providing greater financial predictability for their businesses.
