Colombian edtech UBITS acquired Mexican HRTech Valu, as part of UBITS’s strategy to become a full-stack HR platform.
UBITS provides companies with a learning platform for corporate training and employee development. Valu uses an AI-powered platform to automate the hiring stage by scheduling interviews, pre-screening candidates, and keeping applicants informed about their status.
“Companies lose weeks to fill important vacancies and talent slips away. With Valu, we automate the process from the start so that companies can hire faster and better,” said Julián Melo, UBITS’s co-founder and CEO.
Founded in 2018, UBITS serves over 1,000 clients in Latin America.
