Vammo, the Brazilian electric mobility startup, secured a $30M Series A funding round led by Monashees, the climate tech fund 2150, and Maniv Mobility.
Vammo offers an electric motorcycle rental service with a subscription model, providing users unlimited access to battery-swapping stations in Brazil.
“Electric cars are still too expensive for a significant portion of the population. Our solution is a more affordable alternative and appeals to both affluent and lower-income individuals. Motorcycles play a crucial role in driving the transition to electric mobility in Brazil,” said Billy Blaustein, Vammo’s Co-Founder and COO.
With the new funding, Vammo plans to scale across Brazil in the short term and, eventually expand to other Latin American countries, starting with Colombia and Mexico.
