VEMO secures $250M from Vision Ridge Partners

Mexican green taxi company VEMO raised $250M from Vision Ridge Partners.

Founded in Mexico City in 2021, VEMO operates a mobility platform with about 650 electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and fleet management technology. VEMO also serves public charging clients and runs VEMO Impulso, a leasing model with a purchase option developed with Uber and DiDi.

VEMO will use the funds to expand VEMO’s charging infrastructure and strengthen its transportation services.

“With this commitment, we believe VEMO is ready to enter its next phase of growth alongside a partner that brings extensive experience in electric mobility, full confidence in our team, and a shared vision for the future of transportation,” said Germán Losada, Co-founder and President of VEMO.

To date, VEMO has raised over $500M and plans to invest more than $1.5B over the next five years.
