Vixtra, a Brazilian fintech focused on trade finance for importers, raised $9.6M in a Series A round led by Valor Capital. Headline, NXTP, Actyus, Bluestone, Simma Capital, and several angel investors also participated.

Founded in 2021 by Leonardo Baltieri and Guilherme Rosenthal, Vixtra helps importers access working capital by using goods in transit as collateral. The platform also uses artificial intelligence to support credit analysis, risk management, and operational automation.

The funding will support the expansion of Vixtra’s trade banking platform, which combines financial services, foreign exchange solutions, and technology for importers. The company also plans to develop stablecoin infrastructure integrated with its foreign exchange and credit operations.

Over the past 12 months, Vixtra has grown 2.5x, surpassed $12M in annual recurring revenue, built an active credit portfolio exceeding $45M, and expanded its customer base to more than 200 active importers.
