LatAm List – Banorte, a major bank in Mexico, now offers its clients the option to transfer money through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, SMS or any other social network using the Banorte Móvil application.
Clients can make transfers of up to $417 (MXN$8000) a day, to clients and non-clients of Banorte.
For now, this function is only available for Android OS phones since 80% of their clients use this operating system. By the third trimester of 2019, Banorte expects to release the operations for iOS phones.
