LatamList – Crehana, a Peruvian edtech, raised a $17.5M Series A led by Mountain Nazca. Endeavor Catalyst and SalesForce Ventures also participated in the round.
Crehana is an online learning platform for Spanish speakers that offers more than 500 courses ranging from business to design. The platform also launched a portal for corporate training for companies, as well as a MicroDregree which is a digital certificate in conjunction with universities.
During 2020 the platform has grown by 300% as more people turned to online learning during the global pandemic. The platform now has 3.5 million students learning from their homes.
With the new funding, Crehana is looking to hire new staff to join the current team of 120 people, as well as expand across the region and strengthen the platform’s digital network.
