LatamList – Flourish, a US fintech, raised a $1.5M funding round led by Canary, a Brazilian VC fund. Xochi Ventures, First Check Ventures, Magma Partners, GV Angels, and various Angel investors also participated in the round.
Flourish aims to help banks attract and retain customers with its “engagement and financial wellness” solutions. The Berkeley-based startup offers intelligent software to create personalized saving features for clients, a rewards engine to incentivize saving and a financial knowledge module for customers.
The startup released a B2C app version in 2019 which can integrate with banks through an SDK or API. It is now also licensing its engagement technology to banks, retailers, and fintechs across Latin America.
Flourish currently has clients in the US, Bolivia, and Brazil. The new funding will facilitate expansion in the Latin American markets, particularly Brazil.
