Coderhouse, a digital training platform, raised a $13.5M funding round led by Monashees. Reach Capital and founders from some of the regions’ largest companies also participated in the round.
Coderhouse aims to democratize education in Latin America. The platform offers affordable online training courses in a range of different specialties to help people continue to improve their skills, regardless of their social and economic circumstances.
During 2020, more than 15,000 students completed an online course with Coderhouse. The platform now has over 50,000 students taking part in courses and more than 1,000 tutors.
“Our mission is to democratize access to high quality education in Latin America. We believe that it is important to reach every corner of Latin America with our accessible, affordable, and excellent courses,” the company said.
Coderhouse will use the new funding to continue expanding its range of courses and team of educators, and to further build its presence in the region.
