Apoia raises $800K to expand in Brazil

Brazilian edtech Apoia raised $800K in a funding round led by Big Bets, Reach Capital, and Blustone Capital, with participation from Brazilian angel investors.

Apoia’s platform uses artificial intelligence to create personalized learning experiences, helping students tailor their education to their specific needs and professional challenges.

Apoia will use the funds to expand its operations across Brazil and grow its platform, hoping toreach its goal of 500K monthly active users and $860k in revenue by the end of 2025.

“We want to flip the traditional online education model by putting students in control of their learning, with courses adapted to their needs and professional challenges,” said Rangel Barbosa, founder and CEO of Apoia.

Founded in 2023, Apoia offers over 15K courses across 170 professional areas, with content reviewed by experts from companies like Nubank, O Boticário, and Creditas.
