LatAm List – Arcus, a fintech online banking platform, partnered with the Colombian food delivery startup Rappi to provide a new payment app, RappiPay.
The scope for an online payment system for Rappi is even greater since more customers have been turning to food delivery apps due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Rappi teamed up with Arcus to allow customers to manage their payments without having to leave their homes to pay the deliverers.
“We want to make life easier for our customers, particularly during this difficult time. With RappiPay, people can manage all of their financial needs from the safety of their homes,” said Alejandro Solís, General Manager for Rappi in Mexico.
RappiPay allows customers to make, schedule, and configure recurring payments, and then sends them a notification to help customers manage their finances.
“Arcus was a natural partner for us, as they had the operational, technical, and regional expertise needed to help us go to market quickly with an exceptional customer experience,” said Solis.
