Brazilian fintech Laqus acquired Estar.Finance, a trading platform for digital assets.
Laqus provides financial market infrastructure and software for corporate treasuries. Its SaaS platform provides accounting, risk management, investment, and debt management services, including credit assets and loans.
Estar.Finance is a crowdfunding investment platform that operates as a secondary market of tokenized assets. Estate.Finance was the first asset trading platform authorised by the CVM (Securities Commission) in Brazil.
“Private credit, tokenization, and crowdfunding operations require a more sophisticated infrastructure. We want to be that layer for clients, making growth possible with good security and liquidity options,” commented Rodrigo Amato, CEO and founder of Laqus.
The acquisition strengthens both companies’ positions. Laqus will expand its credit and debt management offering to include crowdfunding and tokenization.
