LatamList – Cargamos, a logistics startup, raised a $4M funding round led by FEMSA Ventures and Mountain Nazca.
The demand for online shopping has grown exponentially due to the global pandemic, putting a strain on e-commerce retailers who struggle to meet deadlines and manage their delivery fleets. Cargamos aims to simplify the delivery process by providing digital management of last-mile delivery.
The platform has over 300 micro-hubs across 15 cities in Mexico, such as Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. The Cargamos software facilitates faster processing and organization of last-mile delivery, ensuring a quicker delivery time for customers.
“Cargamos offers a solution to the major problem faced by e-commerce retailers of delivery time and management. They are the main player in this market at the moment,” said Javier García Quiroga, director of FEMSA Ventures.
The funding will allow Cargamos to expand its micro-hub network in the country.
