CDPQ acquires majority share in Mexico’s Wizeline

CDPQ (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec), a global investments group, acquires Mexico’s Wizeline through majority stake purchase. The firm purchased the stake from Apax Digital Fund, which will remain as a minority shareholder.

Wizeline is a global technology services provider that partners with clients to build high-quality digital products and platforms. The tech company helps customers develop their data software and capabilities to build better products.

Since its launch in 2014, Wizeline has served customers across Mexico and Latin America with next-generation software and innovative technology to accelerate the uptake of digital products in the region.

“Over this past year, we’ve continued to see an accelerated need for digital products and platforms across all industries, which makes it the right time to take the next big step in our journey to become a global leader in the technology service space,” said Bismarck Lepe, co-founder and CEO.

The acquisition by CDPQ will enable Wizeline to further grow and expand its services across the globe.
