LatamList – Conductor, a Brazilian fintech, raised a $150M funding round led by Viking Global Investors. The round also included contributions from Advent Capital affiliate Sunley House Capital, Riverwood Capital, and Visa Ventures.
Conductor is a payments processing platform and insurance provider for fintechs, offering cloud-based software and an open API platform. The startup currently supports over 85 million accounts and processes more than $20B in payments volume across Latin America.
“The company’s mission is to modernize and democratize the payments stack in Latin America […] With this injection of capital, we will accelerate our product investment to unlock the massive opportunity ahead in Brazil and across Latin America,” said Antonio Soares, CEO of Conductor.
With the funding, Conductor will accelerate product development and international growth, as well as consolidate its presence in Latin America.
