LatamList – Contabilizei, a Brazilian accounting platform, raised a Series C funding round led by SoftBank Group Corp. Quona Capital, Point72 Ventures, Kaszek Ventures, and International Finance Corporation also participated in the round. The value of the round was not disclosed.
Contabilizei is an online platform that offers affordable accounting and tax management for SMEs in Brazil. The company wants to democratize access to accounts management technology and help more companies reduce their business costs.
“We see in Contabilizei a complete service (range) that still has lots of potential to grow and offer new solutions. There are a large number of Brazilian freelancers and entrepreneurs who need help to organise their businesses and grow,” said Carlos Medeiros, a Partner at SoftBank.
Since 2016, the company has been doubling in size year on year, ending 2020 with 30,000 corporate clients. Contabilizei will use the funding to accelerate the development of the business and to continue expanding in the region.
