LatamList – Crehana, a Peruvian edtech, raised a $70M Series B funding round led by General Atlantic. Mountain Nazca, Salesforce Ventures, Rethink Education, ALIVE Ventures, IFC, and DILA Capital also participated in the round.
Crehana is an online education platform for corporate training and development. The platform offers over 700 courses in partnership with more than 400 experts in the industry to provide specialized training.
“Our mission is to make career development universal and empower Latin American companies to effectively build their teams in the fast-paced world in which we’re living,” said Diego Olcese, co-founder and CEO of Crehana.
During 2020, the platform saw a triple-digit growth as more companies sought to reskill and upskill their workforce. Crehana for Business provides a flexible, cloud-based learning ecosystem with learning modules that can be tailored to the needs of the client.
The platform will use the funding to expand its platform, invest in new products and technologies, and launch into Brazil. As part of the investment, Luis Cervantes and Zeev Thepris of General Atlantic will join Crehana’s Board of Directors.
