DNA Capital invests in Brazilian healthtechs Feegow and Memed

LatAm ListDNA Capital, a Brazilian VC fund, led investments in two Brazilian healtechs; Memed, a provider of digital drug prescriptions, and Feegow, a medical clinic software provider.

The firm led the $4.5M Series B in Memed in February, and followed its investments in the healthcare sector with an undisclosed amount in Feegow.

Feegow provides medical software for clinics to carry out online appointments, an essential use of technology during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The investment from DNA Capital will help Feegow to develop its technology further and provide telemedicine to patients across Brazil. 

Although many businesses are suffering during the COVID-19 pandemic, the healthcare sector is under increasing pressure to provide advanced technology and high-quality care, making funding such as that from DNA Capital crucial.
