Argentine IoT startup Drixit Technologies raises $1.5M

LatamListDrixit Technologies, an Argentine startup, raised a $1.5M funding round from Globant Ventures, YPF Ventures, YAVU Ventures, and Grupo Murchison. Various angel investors also participated in the round.

Drixit Technologies provides digital software for industrial companies to help them reduce workplace accidents and optimize productivity and efficiency. The startup offers Digital PPE software for employees with technology to help maximize employee safety and security, as well as tracing software, events and action register, and accident protocol for companies.

“Our aim is to completely digitalize the industrial worker and give them the same access to digital tools that an office worker has,” said Mariano Focaraccio, founder and CEO of Drixit Technologies.

The company currently operates in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, and recently took part in the accelerator Scaleup by Endeavor. With the new funding, Drixit plans to consolidate its presence in the region and also to launch in the United States.
