LatamList – Minu, a Mexican fintech, raised a $14M Series A funding round led by Fintech Collective. Various angel investors also participated, including Tom Gonser, founder of DocuSign.
Minu is a fintech that offers Mexican employees access to their already worked salary when they need it. The company has grown significantly in the past year with a 30-40% growth each month as more Mexicans have required additional financial support due to the global pandemic.
“In the last year, we saw a huge increase in demand for our services. We reached employees from across more than 100 companies including Total Play, Telefónica, Scotiabank, Rappi, Office Max, Manpower, and Adecco, to name just a few,” said Nima Pourshasb, CEO and co-founder of Minu.
The Series A brings the startup’s total funding to just under $20M. Minu will now work to develop new services, create a sales team to help grow the company further, and look to regional expansion in Latin America.
