LatamList – Moova, a logistics startup, is planning a Latin American expansion with new investment led by Movile. The funding amount was not disclosed.
Moova is an Argentine digital last-mile logistics platform and delivery service in urban markets. The platform provides a proprietary technology platform and a mobile app for fleet management and optimization.
Connected companies also have access to a growing network of âMooversâ (delivery partners) who carry out last-mile deliveries from manufacturing facilities to retailers or customers.
âThe pandemic created a wide-scale change in consumer behavior,â said Tony Migliore, founder and CEO of Moova. âThe timing is perfect for us to scale our operations, sales, and technology teams, and Movile is our ideal partner to help us successfully manage what we forecast to be massive growth with Latin America in the months ahead.â
The startup currently operates in six Latin American countries and will use the funding to expand its operations. The platform will also build its AI and data analytics team, and improve the platformâs technology and functionality.
