Nagro, a Brazilian AgFintech, raised a $9.5M Series B round led by Rabo Partnerships, Rabobank’s investment arm. Itaú Ventures also participated in the round.
Nagro offers credit solutions for small and midsize farmers. Its platform, AgRisk, combines credit analysis and risk monitoring to improve credit offerings to agribusiness.
“Credit in agriculture has entered a new phase. By combining data intelligence with continuous monitoring throughout the credit process, we are building a data- and AI-driven infrastructure for the entire ecosystem,” commented Gustavo Alves, co-founder of Nagro.
Nagro will use the funds to scale its AI capabilities, specifically its predictive model and decision-making infrastructure, as it prepares to expand operations across Latin America.
Founded in 2017, Nagro previously raised $49M in equity and debt in September 2023.
