LatamList – Quanto, a Brazilian fintech, raised a $15M investment round led by Brazil’s two largest banks, Bradesco and Itaú Unibanco. Kaszek Ventures and Coatue also participated in the round.
Quanto is a single fully-transactional API platform for all financial service providers. The platform offers an open banking solution, allowing banks and fintechs to incorporate third-party financial products in their channels.
The system is based on data sharing between financial institutions and third-party platforms, such as retailers and online markets. In this way, financial institutions will be able to provide a more customized user experience by offering specific products based on the shared data.
Bradesco participated in the round through the Inovabra Ventures fund. All investors will gain a minority stake in the startup.
