Sempli, a Colombian fintech, raised a $10M funding round from existing investors IDB Lab, Oikocredit, and Incofin, alongside various private investors.
Sempli is a credit platform for SMEs that provides loans of between $5K (COP$20M) and $80K (COP$300M). The platform has experienced huge growth in the past months as more businesses have needed economic support.
The startup previously raised an $8M Series A round in 2019 and subsequent equity funding last year.
Sempli aims to continue expansion with new product offerings: a credit terminal, insurance, and a credit card.
