Spline raises Seed funding round for design platform

LatamListSpline, a 3D design platform, raised a Seed funding round led by NXTP Ventures. Y Combinator, Chapter One VC, and various angel investors also participated in the round.

Spline is a digital design platform that enables designers to create 3D/2D content compatible with production environments. The platform builds on traditional technology that users are already familiar with, leveraging a 2D approach and no-code platform.

“3D design has been historically complex and inaccessible for designers. Spline aims to fix that. But it is much more than making things simpler, the entire design process can change if you think and design in 3D by default,” said Alejandro León, founder and CEO of Spline.

Leon launched Spline to provide designers with professional-grade and collaborative web-based tools for larger companies, SMEs, and individual graphic designers. Spline was founded last year and has already expanded to serve tens of thousands of monthly users across the globe.

Spline will use the funding to grow its executive team, accelerate product development and launch new features, and expand into adjacent markets such as gaming applications, XR, and 3D art.
