LatamList – Storybook, a startup for children, raised a $1.2M funding round for its sensory storytelling app.
Storybook is a multi-sensory storytelling platform aimed to help children engage with bedtime stories and sleep better. The app is unique in its approach to combine infant massage, bedtime stories and music to help children relax. Available in three languages (English, Spanish, and Portuguese), Storybook has been downloaded over a million times across 150 countries.
While the app helps children and parents build a good nighttime routine, it also helps strengthen their relationships through the shared experience of the bedtime story. Parents can access some content for free with subscriptions priced at$30 per year.
With the new investment, Storybook plans to accelerate its growth to achieve 100,000 subscriptions and to continue enhancing the interactive storytelling experience.
