Ubits edtech raises $25M Series B for launch into Spain

Ubits, a corporate training platform, announced a $25M Series B funding round as it prepares to launch into Spain. The round was led by Riverwood Capital with contributions from Roble Ventures, Endeavor Catalyst, and Owl Ventures.

Ubits is a platform that offers a range of online classes to help clients improve their professional skills. The platform serves over 300 companies, helping to train their staff and improve employeeā€™s skills.

The next step for the company is to launch into Spain.

ā€œSpain is a key market for us. We want to launch there and triple sales, as well as solidifying our presence in Central America where we operate: Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Chile,ā€ said JuliĆ”n MelĆ³, co-founder and CEO.

Currently Ubits is a B2B platform working with major companies across Latin America. However, MelĆ³ confirmed that the startup was also considering a B2C model to help scale the company and attract more customers.
