VivaBem raises $2.5M to expand its digital primary care services in Brazil

LatAm ListVivaBem, a Brazilian digital health startup, announced a $2.5M seed round led by Swedish VC firm Webrock Ventures.

The startup also partnered with the Swedish healthtech Doktor.se, a digital healthcare platform that offers immediate advice and consultations, to further improve its product by incorporating similar AI technology.

VivaBem offers two B2B business models for telemedicine services in Brazil, as well as electronic prescription services, health risk assessments, and a business intelligence and analytics platform for Human Resources and Occupational Health departments. The startup currently has over 60,000 users and over 20 corporate clients.

“Our mission is to provide affordable, convenient, and integrated access to primary care for all people in Brazil. Our end-to-end, full service, digital solution addresses major pain points in a massively underserved market by offering quality and integrated health services at a low cost,” said Ian Bonde, co-founder and CEO of VivaBem.

The investment will help VivaBem to develop the platform’s technology and improve the user experience for telemedicine. The company aims to have over 300,000 users in the next 18 months.

“[Their] users will get access to the best digital healthcare interface there is and their healthcare professionals will now have a world-leading healthcare tool in their hands,” said Martin Lindman, CEO at Doktor.se.
