wOS launches fitness platform with backing from Y Combinator

LatamListwOS, an online fitness platform, announced its launch in Latin America. The platform also announced its acceptance for the Y Combinator Winter 2021 cohort.

wOS is an online fitness platform that provides live, on-demand, personalized fitness classes. Users can take up to 100 minutes of free classes per month or pay a subscription to access their own personalized classes.

The platform incorporates AI technology and computer vision to create a unique and personalized experience for subscription users. Customers will receive form correction points and be able to interact live with their coach.

“In LatAm, millions are unable to afford gym memberships, and low-cost gyms don’t provide personalized fitness plans or coaching,” said Eduardo Mussali, co-founder and CEO of wOS.

wOS already has over 2,500 users after less than a month since launching in Latin America. The accelertor program Y Combinator named wOS among the Winter 21 cohort and also invested in its pre-seed funding round.

The startup is to start the fundraising for their Seed round at the Y Combinator demo day event.
