Brazilian mobility startup zMatch raised a  $1.8M round from Cristiano Oliveira, Lucas Morales, and Moises Herszenhorn.

zMatch offers a car subscription service that provides a flexible alternative to vehicle ownership. The platform uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized subscription plans for long-term car rentals based on needs such as requirements, budget, and model preferences. zMatch also supports retailers with performance and management tools.

“The traditional model of owning a vehicle no longer makes sense for today’s consumers. With technology and data intelligence, we want to make the vehicle subscription services a realistic and viable alternative,” commented Oliveira.

zMatch will use the funding to develop its AI technology, ZAI, which is expected to launch in early 2026.

Oliveira and Morales previously founded Olívia, an AI-driven fintech acquired by Nubank. Herszenhorn, who formerly worked at Banco BV, will join zMatch as co-CEO.
